Welcome to the Nanoscale Transport Phenomena Laboratory (NTPL). Our goal is to understand the transport of mass, momentum, and energy at the atomic level, by considering the behavior of phonons, photons, electrons, and fluid particles.

The research, based in mechanical engineering, also incorporates knowledge from physics, materials science, and chemistry.
